Hola, Ernesto!

Can you believe the color of this water? This photo is from Isla Mujeres, where we went to see a really cool underwater sculpture garden¬†when we were in Cancun. We rode on a car ferry to the island even though we didn’t have a car. (Most of the locals ride on the ferry, and you know how my dad is about living like the locals). And that evening? Hurricane Ernesto blew in to the area. Okay, so I think he was a Tropical Storm by the time he hit us, but it was still pretty exciting. If only Bayani had been there with his camera…


Drama Rama

Have you ever been to Oz? That’s what some of the locals call Australia. They speak English in Australia, but they have a lot of different words for things – like “brekkie” for breakfast, and “biscuits” for cookies, and “arvo” for afternoon. Or maybe we’re the one with the different words… hmm…


When in Greece

You would not believe the Kouropolous’s yacht. It’s like a floating hotel! We sailed around the Greek islands, including to the island of Santorini, where the white buildings along the top of the cliffs look like snow from a distance. Very cool. Get it? ¬† : )
